Active order book management
Give price references and depth allocation a clear operating structure.
Start with a reference price
The active order book configuration supports a market price reference. Review the reference venue, pair and the relationship to the market you operate. A shared reference can help align quoting across venues; it does not guarantee identical prices or eliminate market risk.
Allocate depth by distance
Configure up to four depth bands. Each band can have its own direction, number of levels and budget. Close quotes and deeper liquidity serve different purposes, so evaluate both the distribution and the total committed amount.
Set behavior for changing conditions
Review spread rules, high-volatility budgets, inventory limits and quote skew. Define replenishment and repricing behavior so that a fill or price move has a configured response.
Verify the result
A saved configuration is a plan. Check effective parameters, running signals, venue-side orders and fills to determine what is actually active.
