Liquidity is more than a number

A large total can still leave one side of the market exposed.

The total hides the shape

A book can look well funded in aggregate while remaining thin near the mid price, or on one side. For an operator, the important question is where usable liquidity sits.

Read three dimensions together

Start with direction: bids and asks should be evaluated separately. Then inspect distance from the reference price. Finally, compare each range with the requirement you are working toward.

A useful monitoring view makes the shortfall visible rather than asking the operator to reconstruct it from a long order table.

From observation to a decision

MMDock’s liquidity workflow connects configurable thresholds with depth observations. The point is to help a team identify which part of the book needs attention and review the effect of its next action.

No single threshold applies to every venue. Confirm the actual requirement, measurement window and valuation method before using a pass state as an operating signal.

Start with your own market

Bring your venue’s depth requirements to a product walkthrough. See how the same market looks when direction and distance are measured explicitly.
